Republic of Bulgaria Award
Work Bulgarian stations since 1 Jan 1965. Europeans need 5 contacts with LZ1/LZ3/LZ5/LZ7 stations and 5 contacts with LZ2/LZ4/LZ6 stations on the 80 and 40 meter bands. Total of 20 contacts. All others need 10 contacts with LZ1/LZ3/LZ5/LZ7 and 10 with LZ2/LZ4/LZ6 with no band restrictions. Total of 20 contacts.

Earn 100 points for contacts with stations located in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria after 1 Jan 1979. Points earned are calculated as follows:

BULGARIA
BULGARIAN FLORA FAUNA AWARD (LZFFA)
Sponsored by the Bulgarian Federation of Radio Amateurs ( BFRA ) and available to all amateurs and SWLs to introduce the National Parks, the Nature Parks, the Nature Reserves, the Biosphere Reserves and the Upheld Nature Reserves, recognized by the Bulgarian Ministry of the Environment and Water. The rule follows the outlines of the " WFF – World Flora Fauna " Award (http://www.wff44.com).

There is no fee if the award and stickers are requested to be in electronic format. It will be sent in pdf format . Contacts on all amateur radio bands, from 2 to 160 m ; SSB, CW. Digital modes are valid. For the Award there is no differentiations of mode or band. No use of repeaters.
Contacts with stations from LZFF references on or after January 1st., 2000.

Each request for the award either hunter or activator must be based on WFF LogSearch Application http://ew4dx.org/WFFsearch.html, eLog of expeditions sent to Award Manager or to be based on QSL received in any form. Claim also can be made using a completed Application Form which can be downloaded from the web site: http://www.lzffa.mtt.or The hunterr (for QSOs) : does not have to send QSL cards to claim the Award but all the contacts must be shown in the LogSearch at http://www.ew4dx.org/WFFsearch.html All the claimant has to do is to send the Application Form and payment..
If the contacts are not shown in the online log, then you may send scanned QSL cards via E-mail or to send actual QSL cards, SAE and postage via regular mail.

The All Bulgarian Saints Diploma
The Balkan Sports Club LZ1KZA sponsors this annually issued award for contacting different special call signs honoring Bulgarian Orthodox Saints beginning with the first one in 2011.
Requirements:
European stations need 10 QSO (or SWL reports)
All others need 5 QSO (or SWL reports)

The LZCWC Award
The LZ CW CLUB issues the LZCWC Award to any licensed amateur radio operator for contacting different members of the LZ CW CLUB, using only CW, on any HF band as follows:
First Class = 30 members
Second Class = 20 members
Third Class = 10 members
Recommended frequencies for contacting LZCWC members: 1825, 3527, 7027, 10127, 14027, 18087, 21027, 24927 and 28027 kHz. LZCWC members may send LZCWC after their call sign, when they operate on these frequencies No fee is required for this award.
An updated LZ CW CLUB membership list can be obtained from, and applications containing log extracts with members worked, date, time and band, as well as applicant’s names, call sign and address should be sent by e-mail to: lz1af(at)abv.bg or by ordinary mail to: Dimiter Petrov, LZ1AF, P.O. 1800 Years Fortress OVETCH
This diploma will be issued to licensed radio amateurs who make two-way contacts with radio amateurs in the city Provadia and the rest of Bulgaria. Applicants from Europe will need 100 points, all others 50. Contacts must have been made on or after 1 Jan 2000. Each call sign may be used only once per band. There are no restrictions for bands and modes.
Point Values:
a. 5 points among the members of the Radio Club in Provadia (LZ2AB, LZ2FY,
LZ2SB, LZ2PE, LZ2VS, LZ2VP, LZ4VP, LZ4RV, LZ2ZM, LZ1ZM and LZ2RV.
b. 10 points from the special stations LZ18C, LZ22SO, LZ40VP, LZ50IM,
LZ60RP, LZ80DO, LZ90SO, LZ100SO, LZ100SB, LZ120AK, LZ125VP, LZ130VP,
LZ170SK, LZ160AK, LZ170HD, LZ180PH and LZ180FT.
c. 1 point for all other LZ stations.
The application is accompanied by a GCR list (in ascending order of call signs with the date and UTC indication of the QSOs) plus fee of 5,00 €, U.S. $ 6.00 or 10 IRCs.
