Many persons may not be aware that Germany administered a number of colonies in the Pacific, South America and Africa ending in 1918. The award is available in two grades for amateur radio operators and SWLs for contacts in all modes (and mixed) after October 3rd, 1990, the day of the German reunification. His criticisms of the Catholic Church at the time inspired later theologians John Wyclif and Martin Luther. The Hussitens were strong in certain areas of Germany which are made a part of this award. The DARC division Mittweida (DOK S44) is issuing this award for contacting club members and HAMs who are studying or have studied at the college of Mittweida. The college celebrates its 140th anniversary in 2007. For that reason contacts after January 1st 2007 only are valid. There are a few exceptions to this date however: contacts with the clubstation of the college and non German students are valid from as early as 1924. Each station may be worked on several bands to get extra points. 100 points are need. "Alis Volat Propriis", is the Oregon state motto, meaning "She Flies With Her Own Wings", appropriate for radio communication and this award. The basic certificate is issued for contacting 25 of Oregon’s 36 counties. Endorsements for 30, and all 36 counties.
