Indonesia            Indonesian Alphabet Award


The Indonesian Alphabet Award is issued to Radio Amateurs/SWL worldwide that can prove to have made 2-way radio contacts / heard in Amateur HF bands with stations of Radio Amateurs situated on the Indonesian territory.  The goal is to collect 26 stations working from Indonesia by the first letter of their call sign from A to Z. In the application, QSOs must be specify in alphabetical order by the first letter of the suffix.
1. All QSOs must be made on or after July 9, 1968.
-  Applicants must have made the QSOs /HRDs from same DXCC Entity.
-  Domestic and foreign operators operating portable such as YB8RW/3 or YB8/DL3KZA are also valid.
-    Applicants must have made the QSOs /HRDs from same DXCC Entity.

2  Award
The Indonesian Alphabet Award is issued in 4 categories:
 a. Phone : all 26 QSOs in Phone mode
 b. CW : all 26 QSOs in CW mode
 c. Digital : all 26 QSOs in Digital mode, regardless of submode
 d. Mixed : all 26 QSOs in Mixed mode of Phone, CW and Digital
There will be no band endorsement

3  QSO crediting
a.  The QSL cards are not required, but they must be in possession of the applicant and must be produced upon request for inspection. (by scan and sending via e-mail).
b.  Claim must be accompanied by QSL card list (GCR) furnished with the call signs of stations worked, dates, times, bands, modes. Alternatively a list of stations worked with a copy of the QSL cards can be used as well. Applicants may attach the list and scans of the QSL cards.
c.  eQSL, LoTW, Clublog and other electronic confirmation can be used.
4. Application and fee
    The Indonesian Alphabet Award is FREE, and issued in PDF or JPEG format. (Please contact Award Manager by email if request in paper award)

INDONESIA         Worked Indonesian Kabupaten Kota (WIKK)

1.      What is WIKK
The Worked Indonesian Kabupaten Kota (WIKK) award is an International Award Program with the goal of attracting interest in Amateur Radio through the communication with various Kabupaten (Regency) and Kota (City) of Indonesia. The "WIKK" program is established to encourage making confirmed contacts with the greatest variety of Indonesian areas according to IKK Number.  There are currently 11 different certificate awards varying in difficulty and complexity, and also a Plaque and Throphy available for "Honor Roll" and "Honor Roll #1".

2.      Rules
    a. The Worked Indonesian Kabupaten Kota (WIKK) Award is available to all licensed radio amateurs and SWLs everywhere in the world.
    b. WIKK is issued for radio contacts with specified numbers of Kabupaten (Regency) and Kota (City) in the Indonesian territory.  
    c. All QSO/HRDs must be made on any amateur HF bands, on or after August 17, 1945 (Indonesia Independence Day).
    d. Special event call signs and portable operation are also valid in this program, as long as it has information about the location (Kabupaten or Kota).
        e. Endorsements may be requested for bands (Mixed and any Single Band) and modes (CW, Phone, Digital and Mixed). If an endorsement is not specifically requested, the Award will be issued in Mixed Bands and Mixed Modes.
    f. Confirmation of QSO/HRDs are necessary. The confirmation may be provided as QSL card paper or any electronic form (LoTW, e-QSL, Clublog etc.) as far have detail information of the station location (Kabupaten or Kota).
           g. It is not necessary to submit QSL Cards, however they must be in possession of the applicant and must be produced upon request for inspection (by scan and sending via e-mail).
    h. Applicants must have made all QSOs/HRDs from same DXCC entity.

Currently (October-2017) there are 514 Kota and Kabupaten in Indonesia. Please click on the following link for a copy of list of Kabupaten and Kota and their IKK Number.
Please note, if the QSOs/HRDs have made before the inauguration date of Kabupaten or Kota, it should use previous IKK Number.
