ITALY 500th Anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Death
On the occasion of the 500th Anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci’s, A.R.I. Vigevano is proud to celebrate the Inventor with a special activity that will take place in the Vigevano area, in sites that were strongly related to his work and life.
In the framework of several Da Vinci’s events scheduled in all the country, A.R.I. Vigevano is launching the following Award "1519-2019 Leonardo da Vinci's Anniversary- Leonardo in Vigevano".

CW-SSB-RTTY-FT8-FT4-JT65-JT9-SSTV- PSK (all speeds) and other digital modes.
Terrestrial cross-band modes, repeaters, radio-internet connections or similar ways are not allowed.
7. QSO/HRD POINTS
a. QSO/HRD with special station I B 2 L V will have 2 points assigned
b. QSO/HRD with special station I B 2 L V/P will have 10 points assigned
c. The special station IB2LV can be contacted several times on the same day as long as the contact is done using different modes and bands.
d. The special station IB2LV/P can be contacted several times on the same day as long as the contact is done using different modes and bands.
8. REPORTS
Stations will exchange reports.
In addition to the main activity period (from August 30th to December 2nd 2019) there will be specific moments where IB2LV will have a special and symbolic relevance. In this regard we will be operating in some of Leonardo’s historical sites in Vigevano area on September 1st, 15th, and 22nd.
9. Please find here the scheduled activities that will take place in Leonardo da Vinci's sites:
a. -Castle of Vigevano - Sunday September 1st - IB2LV/P
b. -Mill of Mora Bassa - Sunday September 15th - IB2LV/P
c. -Farmhouse Colomabarone - Sunday September 22nd - IB2LV/P
Besides this schedule, the mentioned special sites may be activated in other dates as well.
9. AWARD ASSIGNEMENT
To receive the Award, all Radio Amateurs and SWL will have to achieve a minimum score as follows:
a. Italian stations: 30 points
b. European stations: 20 points
c. Outside Europe Stations: 10 points
10. SPECIAL RECOGNITION
In addition to the Diploma that will be sent to all the participants achieving the minimum score, special notes of credit will be assigned to the ones who will complete QSO/HRD with the station IB2LV/P as well:
a. First class - gold: for those who will connect IB2LV/P from three different Leonardo's sites.
b. Second class - silver: for those who will contact IB2LV/P from two different Leonardo’s sites.
c. Third class - bronze: for those who will contact IB2LV/P from a Leonardo’s site.
d. The score calculation derives from the sum of the points obtained for each QSO/HRD with the special stations IB2LV and IB2LV/P
11. AWARD REQUEST
The Award is free of charge and we kindly ask you to send your requests to award500@arivigevano.net within December 31st 2019.
The Award will be delivered via email as PDF file (A4 format). Please specify in your request if you wish to receive the Diploma in A3 format. The log of the applicant, Radioamateur, or SWL must be sent in .adif or .xls format.
REQUIREMENTS OF DATA:
The log must contain:
a. List of QSO/HRD
b. Day-Way- Band and RST
c. For SWLs please indicate both Stations heard.
d. Number of QSO/HRD
e. Total points
f. Name Surname
g. Call sign
h. Email address
Stations that do not abide by the Regulation will be disqualified and will not receive the Award.
The sending of the logs implies the acceptance of the Regulation.
The decisions of the committee responsible for monitoring the logs are unquestionable.

BELGIUM Canadian Liberation of Belgium 1944 (OR75CLM)
In Knokke-Heist (Belgium), the liberation in 1944 by Canadian troops is commemorated annually with various ceremonies, the high point being the March. Many thousands of walkers have participated in the Canadian Liberation march that follows the route that was taken by the soldiers between the Western Scheldt in the Netherlands and Knokke. Since the beginning, ONZ Oostkust has been organizing a special call to commemorate and honor this event.
For the 75th commemoration we propose OR75CLM. The call will be in the air permanently during the weekend of 1-2-3 November 2019 on all possible bands and using various techniques.

From 1 to 31 October 2019 our members will be active on all bands in SSB, CW and digital modes (FT8 - RTTY – PSK63), with their name and also with some special names. The award is open to all.
Regulation:
1. The start of the event: from 0000z on 1 October 2019 to 2400z on 31 October 2019.
2. Contacts will be possible in all bands including the WARCs, 6mt and 2mt.
3. Points will be awarded for each QSO with members of Milazzo's ARI Section and with special stations active for the occasion. For the purposes of the ranking, each operator can be connected once by bandwidth and mode (20m SSB, 20m CW, 20M FT8 etc....).

ITALY Strange Radio Event Award
This event will take place annually. Each Event will depict and represent on its certificate a work or monument of historical significance of several municipalities and cities of Italy.
In addition, this event will always be organized to remember our AMICO Mario Ambrosi, I2MQP with whom the Strange Radio Team has always had relationships of deep friendship and esteem as well as effective collaboration and participation.
Participation in the Strange Radio Event is open to all amateur radios and is in FREE form, but involves accepting and respecting the following:
1. The event will take place in two rounds from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (local time in Italy) of the following weekends: October 5 and 6, 2019 – October 12 and 13, 2019;
2. S.R.T. members = 3 points, special names (with SRT, SRE or MQP suffix) = 5 points, and the IQ8OM special station = worth 10 points. These stations can be connected once a day for each individual band;
3. The Strange Radio Event Certificate requires 30 points;
4. Operating bands 40 and 80 meters;
5. Operating modes: SSB, CW, RTTY, FT8;
6. Event participants will receive only points during the QSO (no progressive, no time stoppages);
7. All participants who have reached 30 points, will be able to download online, on our official website, a wonderful certificate in .pdf format with their score obtained in the ranking. The names of s.R.T. stations and special names will be disseminated with every means available and in advance;
8. The first three finishers will receive as a prize the material offered by our sponsors: Radiofrequenza Shop: www.radiofrequenzashop.com and Pro.Sis.Tel www.prosistel.it;
